Oil price falls ahead of jobs report (AP)

Oil prices slipped Thursday after a four-day surge as traders await a key U.S. jobs report.

Here's how energy prices traded.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude fell 16 cents to end the day at $100.20 per barrel.

Gasoline was unchanged, finishing at $2.5579 per gallon.

Heating oil dropped 5.56 cents to end at $2.9695 per gallon.

Natural gas rose 9.8 cents to end the day at $3.648 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude fell $1.27 to end at $108.71 per barrel.
