Especially in an increasingly full-time working and living space, it is now the best school possible, striking the increasing number of weak-learning impaired children and young people with health problems early and systematically to deal with preventative support services. The school can make a lasting contribution to promoting the health of children from all social strata.
Against this background the Federal Ministry of Health, a project to develop a concept launched ?Promoting mental health at all-day schools.? The concept is now being tested after successfully completing the pilot phase at the Centre for Applied Health Sciences at the University of Luneburg.
